They’re not neglecting it, they’re purposefully ignoring it. People will tag (correctly, mind you) Reagan, Nixon, and Dubya as the issue of modern America, but if you bring up the voting/writing record of the most recent Blue Guy, somehow its not their fault, people are allowed to change, people can learn better, etc. etc.

And then when you call them out, you’re calling being a useful idiot for having a braincell that wasn’t fed propaganda for a doupoly.

Every time someone says “Blue MAGA isn’t a thing” I just roll my eyes and recall every time I was right about the DNC failing to protect the democracy they claim to support, and got downvoted, banned, flamed, censored, etc.

Every liberal would be cheering and partying in the streets if Trump got stage 4 cancer.

Then they turn around and say “Wow you’re so uncivil for cheering for the guy who has aided in a genocide, helped make COVID a permanent issue, ignored kids in cages, and made Trump run again.”

Do they just not see all the issues with their favorite candidates or are they just unable to witness their own doublethink?

Coke was good, New Coke sucked, and when they went back to Coke Classic, people were so happy they didn’t even notice that they swapped out the sugar for corn syrup

While I agree with the general statement of your comment, I do wish to be a bit “um actually 🤓☝️”

The new product continued to be marketed and sold as Coke (until 1990, when it was renamed Coke II) while the original formula was named Coca-Cola Classic, and for a short time it was referred to by the public as Old Coke. Some who tasted the reintroduced formula were not convinced that the first batches really were the same formula that had supposedly been retired that spring. This was true for a few regions, because Coca-Cola Classic differed from the original formula in that all bottlers who had not already done so were using high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) instead of cane sugar to sweeten the drink, though most had by this time.[11]: 183

The putative switch was planned all along to cover the change from sugar-sweetened Coke to much less expensive high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), a theory that was supposedly given credence by the apparently different taste of Coke Classic when it first hit the market (the U.S. sugar trade association took out a full-page ad lambasting Coke for using HFCS in all bottling of the old formula when it was reintroduced).[11] In fact, Coca-Cola began allowing bottlers to remove up to half of the product’s cane sugar as early as 1980, five years before the introduction of New Coke. By the time the new formula was introduced, most bottlers in the U.S. had already sweetened Coca-Cola entirely with HFCS.[2]

New Coke was a major fuck up, but it wasn’t a cover up for swapping to HFCS. Reagnomics/shifting safety laws enabled it being used, before New Coke happened.

Is there something real behind these people’s paranoia and suspicion? Do our government, military, and our corporations inspire trust?

No, the US government, as with every government, does not deserve trust. They are not your friend. They will lie to you, directly or by omission.

However, all governments are bad at coverups. Chem trails would need to have entire leagues and fields paid off and prohibited from investigating it. Not just in America, but world wide. If America was doing Chem trails, there’s nothing really prohibiting China or Russia from calling it out. They have zero reasons to agree to deals to limit their scientists, as it would be a major shake up in geopolitics. America in that instance could not be trusted with any claims of its scientific achievements.

I don’t really buy into a moon landing hoax or a JFK cover up. By now, everything and everyone involved would have had to been paid off, including families, scientists, historians, and more.

You don’t need to be mad at a vague shadow government, you can be mad at the actual government for what they are actually doing. Be mad at Tuskegee and Gulf of Tonkin, not 9/11 with wire bombs and plane holograms.
